Alexander Ojugo is the HSE Manager at Subdrill Services Limited, bringing over two decades of experience in leading Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) systems across complex energy, infrastructure, and environmental projects in both onshore and offshore settings. A seasoned strategist and safety systems architect, he has successfully implemented HSE-MS frameworks on high-stakes projects spanning Nigeria, the Middle East, and Asia. Mr. Ojugo holds an M.Sc. in Environmental Management from Imo State University and a B.Sc. in Pure Chemistry from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He is certified in integrated QHSE management systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001), NEBOSH (IGC), and is an IRCA-accredited HSE-MS Lead Auditor. He also brings expertise in hazard analysis, sustainability planning, incident investigation, and advanced safety auditing. His leadership experience includes serving as HSE Manager for Saipem in Nigeria and Iraq, HSE Advisor for Subsea 7, and holding key roles with Shell, JGC, and other international EPC contractors. In addition to technical excellence, he is known for his collaborative approach, training capabilities, and ability to build safety cultures that drive compliance, reduce risk, and support sustainable operations. At Subdrill, Mr. Ojugo is instrumental in aligning operational safety with business goals, ensuring all projects meet rigorous regulatory, environmental, and corporate standards.
